Having worked as a Realtor in Oak Park and River Forest since 1986, I have helped many people (individuals, families, groups) relocate.  I have enjoyed helping young people find their first homes and as these people have needed or wanted larger homes, I've helped them to sell and "buy up".   Older folks who are moving out of their gracious homes and scaling down also present enjoyable opportunities.  Representing a seller or a buyer during the negotiating phase is a most crucial service from a Realtor.  I have honed my skill in this area and work very hard to perform this task with knowledge, skill and maximum integrity.  My success in this area is evidenced by the fact that my customers have become my best referral sources. I'm originally from the east (Brooklyn, NY), educated at the University of Michigan (BA & MSW) and am a longtime resident of Oak Park. I am an activist in local politics and a 30 year member of the League of Women Voters. As an officer and Director of the Oak Park Residence Corporation, a community not-for-profit corporation, where fair housing, rehabilitation and management of multifamily housing are our primary concerns, I am aware of the larger issues affecting our regional and local housing markets.
